White Tank Mountain Hike

 Date: November 11, 2000
Place: White Tank Mountain Park, Arizona

Originally scheduled for November 4th and delayed by one week because of rain, the hike in the White Tank Mountain Park on November 11th was blessed with blues skies, refreshing breezes, and wonderful vistas. The one-day hike started at Mesquite Canyon trailhead, covered a distance of approximately 7 miles, reached altitudes of about 2200 feet, and ended at the Ford Canyon trailhead.

We are very grateful to Gilanda and Casimir Matonis for exploring and testing the trails in the White Tank Mountain Park, and for organizing and leading this memorable hiking expedition.
