Lithuanian Independence Day was celebrated on Sunday February 16th at the Ventana Vista Condominiums clubhouse in Tucson. The program included Kestutis Eidukonis, the current representative from Arizona on the Lithuanian American Community's Doard of Directors, who spoke about current events in Lithuania, and KProf. K. Paul Zygas, the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Arizona, who spoke about Lithuanian history. Everyone enjoyed Lithuanian dishes and cold refreshments. The event was organized by Vytautas Stagniunas and Irena Janulis. Photos of the event shown below were contributed by Mrs. Ruta Sweetsir.
